1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Budgeting Beacon ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. The Service is provided by Budgeting Beacon, part of the Payroll Beacon and Founding Beacon family.

2. Description of Service

Budgeting Beacon is a personal financial planning tool that provides cash flow calendars, debt tracking, savings projections, budget management, and AI-powered spending categorization. The Service is designed for informational and planning purposes and does not constitute financial advice.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate, complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You may invite a partner to share access to your budget through the couples feature.
• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

4. Pricing & Subscriptions

Budgeting Beacon is currently available for free during our early access period. At launch, the Service will be offered at $9.99/month. We also offer a premium service at $250 for a one-time manual review and categorization of one year of bank statements.

• Early access users will receive advance notice before billing begins.
• Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time.
• Refunds for the manual review service are handled on a case-by-case basis.

5. User Data & Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of all financial data you enter into the Service. We will never sell your personal or financial data.

6. AI Features

The AI spending categorization feature processes uploaded bank statements to organize transactions by category. While we strive for accuracy, AI categorizations should be reviewed and may not be 100% accurate. You should verify all categorized transactions.

7. Disclaimer

Budgeting Beacon is a financial planning tool, not a financial advisor. The projections, calculations, and suggestions provided are estimates based on the data you enter. We do not guarantee the accuracy of financial projections. Always consult a qualified financial advisor for important financial decisions.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Budgeting Beacon shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service or any financial decisions made based on information provided by the Service.

9. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
